A partial denture is a removable appliance that replaces missing teeth. It is supported by your existing teeth, and fills in the empty gaps. It will help to regain chewing and speaking  functions, as well as aesthetics.

Removable partial dentures attach the missing teeth to a pink or gum-colored acrylic  base, which are usually connected by a metal framework. They attach to your natural teeth with metal clasps or to hidden precision attachments.

Complete or full dentures are advised  when all of your natural teeth are missing. You can have a full denture on both your upper and lower jaw.

A conventional denture is a removable appliance made of acrylic resin, sometimes combined with special types of metals. Dentures can often be used in conjunction with implants to enhance function, retention and comfort.  A denture improves the chewing  and speech ability of the patient, and provides an important  support for the facial muscles greatly enhancing the appearance of the face, allowing you to smile with confidence.

Wearing  dentures for the first time is a learning process. For the first few weeks a new denture may feel awkward or bulky, and eating may take a little practice, but your mouth will eventually become accustomed to wearing it.

Root Canal

Root Canal Treatment, also known as Endodontics, is a restorative procedure to prevent the need for extractions and other treatments like implants and dental bridges.

Millions of teeth are treated and salvaged each year with root canal therapy and 80% of these treatments are performed by your general dentist in just one or two appointments. If necessary, you will be referred to an Endodontist.

A Root Canal treatment is required when the pulp in the center of the tooth becomes inflamed or infected by deep decay, cracks or chips, repeated dental treatments or trauma.

If you are experiencing signs like severe pain, prolonged sensitivity to heat or cold, swelling, or tenderness to chewing and touch, call our office for an evaluation, and we will gladly hep you.

Crown and Bridges

CROWNS

A crown, also known as a "cap," is a type of dental restoration that covers the entire surface of your tooth giving it back its ideal size, shape, and function.

A crown can be used to strengthen a tooth that is fractured or weakened by decay or large fillings, to protect a tooth following a root canal treatment, to anchor and attach a dental bridge, to improve misshapen or discolored teeth and/or to restore a dental implant.

Crowns can be fabricated from different materials, e.g. Porcelain, metal or a combination of both. Porcelain crowns are very popular since they match the natural color and appearance of your teeth.

Feel free to call our office to find out which type of dental crown is best for you.

FIXED BRIDGES

Fixed bridges are designed to replace one or more missing teeth. They may be attached to carefully prepared adjacent natural teeth, or to implants.  As with crowns, they can be made of different materials that resemble and function like natural teeth.  Bridges are one of the most popular options and are often preferred in place of partial removable dentures.
